I thought it might be nice to start posting more regular updates here on the blog, beginning with what’s new this month.
Audiobook News
The audiobook for The Mind Breaker is now live on Audible. If you haven’t heard, the new narrator for this series is Derek Austin, and his voice is the perfect fit for how I imagine Silas sounds. I think you’ll really enjoy what he brings to the story, and I’m thrilled with how the audiobook turned out.
If you’ve listened to the Thomas Austin and FBI Task Force S.W.O.R.D. audiobooks, you’ll still hear Joe Hempel and Amber Dekkers on those. They’ve done such a great job bringing those series to life, and nothing is changing there. Derek will be narrating the Silas West books going forward.

Series Milestone
It was three years ago this month that The Bones at Point No Point first released. I was shocked to see it back at #1 in Mystery Series on Amazon, and that’s entirely thanks to all of you. I’m so grateful to everyone who supported this book from the beginning, and to the many new readers still discovering it today.

Event Recap
I recently had the honor of speaking and signing books at the West Sound Crime Con. I loved meeting and being introduced by Gregg Olsen, whose new book Out of the Woods has just come out. I haven’t been doing many events lately, so it was great to get out and connect with readers again. I’m hoping to do more once life settles down a bit.
Thank you to everyone who attended, for the kind words, and for the great questions during the Q&A. And thanks to our family friend Eliza for coming along and taking pictures.

Translation Updates for German Readers
I’m happy to share that the Thomas Austin series will continue as audiobooks in German. Thanks to all the support for the first three audiobooks, Audible has acquired the rights to books 4 through 6, and production will begin soon. I’ll share more details once I have release dates.
Also, The Mind Breaker is now available in German in both paperback and eBook formats. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make these translations happen, so thank you to everyone who’s been reading. If you’ve read my Thomas Austin series or the FBI Task Force S.W.O.R.D. books, you’ll find the Silas West series a bit darker and more psychological, but still with likable characters, the familiar rainy Pacific Northwest setting, and this time, even a cat. There’s much more to come in this series!

That’s all for now! As always, thank you for reading, whether you’ve just picked up your first book or have been following my work for years.
